The Shower Meditation is a great practice I use myself to wash away any heaviness, stress, worry, fear or insecurity I may be experiencing going into the day or after a long day. Perhaps you may have a big day ahead of you with a big presentation or important meeting that naturally brings on the jitters, or maybe you are feeling a tad stressed from running your own business like moi! Or maybe you’ve been around some heavy energy and unpleasant interactions with loved one or strangers and you just need to wash off the toxic energy that clings onto from a moment like that.
This practice literally takes a few minutes. So for those of you that may say “I don’t have time to meditate!” can now multi-task!
Every time you take a shower visualize washing away your stress and anxiety. Concentrate on the feel of the water upon your skin. Envision the power of the shower washing away your negative thoughts! Woosh!
Envision fear, regret and anger soaping off of you and swirling down the drain.
You literally will walk out the shower not only feeling physically clean but emotionally lighter and rejuvenated to take on your day or ready for a restful night’s sleep.
